The deepest loss isn’t simply the loss of someone we love. It’s the feeling that we’ve lost home itself. And because love is home, every meaningful relationship leads us back to the same place.

The Meow That Changed The World
This is how it all began…
The morning after Harley died, he meowed. Loud. Unapologetic. Unmistakably him. And in that single sound, everything I thought I knew about love, death and reality collapsed and rebuilt itself into something more true. More real.
The Meow is the origin story of how that happened. And it doesn’t begin with Harley. It begins with a spiral.
Each of my feline relationships laid a foundation — Samantha, Peter, Mia, Ebon, MissC — each one returning me to something I needed to see. Each one building a layer of trust, of recognition, of sensitivity to love in its purest form. The spiral—the movement of love— kept visiting the same ground from new vantage points. Preparing me. Opening me. Making me ready.
And when my father was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and the doctors said there was nothing more they could do, we chose something different together. He trusted me. I trusted love and the body’s innate intelligence. And it worked. He healed. And every childhood daddy wound I had, healed with him.
What we built in that radical trust, that unwavering devotion, that willingness to stay present to the unknown… became the living proof that love is the most powerful force in existence. That love creates miracles.
